About me

My name is Tina Cathleen MacNaughton and I am an acupuncturist, a writer and a poet. I have a professional writing services company, WriteRhymes, which produces bespoke celebration poetry on commission which I write personally. I write promotional material for small businesses and events.  I enjoy writing poetry regularly for the community in Wokingham.Today and The Portsmouth Evening News in an attempt to spread the enjoyment and therapeutic benefits of rhyme and rhythm of our rich and beautiful language.

I am based in the village of Crowthorne in Berkshire where I practise acupuncture and spend part of my time in my seaside home city, the beautiful Portsmouth.

I belong to The Poetry Society, Orbis, Artemis women's writing circle, Portsmouth Writers' Hub and Words Out Loud open mic group.

I have written and published an illustrated narrative fairytale 'When the elves rescued Christmas' (WriteRhymes, 2020). My debut poetry collection 'On the Shoulders of Lions' (The Choir Press, 2021) can be purchased from Pigeon Books, Albert Road, Southsea and The Book Shop, High Street, Lee-on-the-Solent.  It is also available online from Amazon and Blackwells.

Alternatively, please contact me directly for a signed copy with personalised message.

I am proud to feature in Writing Literary Portsmouth, an exciting collaborative online project with Portsmouth University and local writers which can be accessed at this link
